Frank Lloyd Wright Design Designed 1923 The Native American garden sculpture figures "Nakoma and Nakomis" were designed as a pair for the Nakoma Country Club, a building inspired by the ceremonial campgrounds of the Winnebago Tribe. Wright's original commission was to be built in Madison, Wisconsin, but it was never realized until the clubhouse was recently constructed by Taliesin Architects at the Nakoma Resort and Spa in Goldmountain, California.
